二如
There are various definitions of the two aspects of the [lang id =1028]真如 bhūtatathatā.
(1) (a) [lang id =1028]不變真如 The changeless essence or substance, e.g. the sea; (b) [lang id =1028]隨緣真如 its conditioned or ever-changing forms, as in the phenomenal world, e.g. the waves.
(2) (a) [lang id =1028]離言真如 The inexpressible absolute, only mentally conceivable;
(6) [lang id =1028]依言真如 aspects of it expressible in words, its ideal reflex.
(3) (a) [lang id =1028]空真如 The absolute as the void, e.g. as space, the sky, a clear mirror; (b) [lang id =1028]不空真如 the absolute in manifestation, or phenomenal, e. g. images in the mirror: the womb of the universe in which are all potentialities.
(4) (a) [lang id =1028]在纏真如The Buddha-nature in bonds, i.e. all beings in suffering; (b) [lang id =1028]出纏真如the Buddha-nature set free by the manifestation of the Buddha and bodhisattvas.
(5) (a) [lang id =1028]有垢真如The Buddha-nature defiled, as in unenlightened man, etc., e.g. the water-lily with its roots in the mud; (b) [lang id =1028]無垢真如 the pure Buddha-nature, purifed or bright as the full moon.
(6) [lang id =1028]安立 and [lang id =1028]非安立真如 similar to the first definition given above.

1.隨緣真如和不變真如。 隨緣真如是一種不守自性的真如, 它隨染緣而生染法, 隨淨緣而生淨法; 不變真如則是清淨本然, 雖隨緣千差萬別的諸法, 但它的自性, 從無遷變。 隨緣真如如波, 不變真如如水, 不變之水起波相, 但隨緣之波並不失水性, 以隨緣之故, 真如即萬法, 以不變之故, 萬法即真如。 2.有垢真如和無垢真如。 有垢真如是眾生所有的真如; 無垢真如是諸佛所顯的真如。 3.在纏真如和出纏真如。 在纏真如是有垢真如的別名; 出纏真如是無垢真如的別名。
